When Gene and Rita Krehl surrendered their lives to serve God in full-time mission work they came to the Texas/Mexican border.

More than ever, the national pastors have to expand their efforts.  They all need our prayers and extra financial help to do their jobs.  Acts 1:8 says “…and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem (our local areas) and in all Judea (all of the U.S.) and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.”

The Krehls believe Mexico is their “Samaria” and there is no greater answer to the violence than that the people of Mexico receive the Gospel.  Gene and Rita would like to invite you to be a part of this effort.  Would you pray and seek God’s guidance in how you might be a part of the Krehl’s vision to reach Mexico?

Pastor  Stephen Stewart graduated from Fellowship Baptist College of Indiana. He and his wife, Rachel, came to Tennessee in 2006 and started Amazing Grace Baptist Church. In April of 2008, Amazing Grace merged with Calvary Baptist to form Cornerstone Baptist Church. They have three children—Katelyn, Caleb & Joshua.

I am thankful that I had the opportunity to grow up in a Christian home where God’s Word was always taught and we were very active in our local church.  At the age of eleven, I received the Lord Jesus as my Savior.  I was always taught the importance of applying God’s Word in my own life and also reaching out to others and was made aware of the importance of a worldwide missionary emphasis.

Since 1971, my wife and I have been in a church planting and a discipleship training ministry in Old Mexico. Over the years we have helped establish nine churches in Mexico and the USA.  The Lord has been so faithful through the years for which we praise Him.  Our ministry includes evangelism, personal teaching classes, the Bible correspondence courses, free Spanish CD ministry, literature distribution and youth camp activities.  It also has been a real joy to be able to share God’s Word on a monthly basis with the undocumented people from many countries of the world at the United States Federal Detention Center in South Texas.

Our ministry is aimed at getting the Gospel to our U. S. military personnel. We no not serve on a particular military base but get young men to go where we cannot go. The U. S. military is America’s mobile mission field, most effectively reached with the Gospel by godly military chaplains.

Before starting this ministry in 1997, I pastored 25 years in the Southeast. I have four children, all grown, and eight grandchildren. My first wife, Brenda and I were married 38½ years. She passed away in September, 2006, after a nine-month battle with cancer. God has brought a wonderful Christian lady into my life and we were married on October 27, 2007. Sylvia served 41 years in Taiwan as a missionary and two years in China.

During the mid 1970’s Pastor Albright had the privilege of being involved in two Chicago churches while on extension from Maranatha Baptist Bible College in Watertown, Wisconsin. After Bible college, Pastor Albright married his high school sweetheart, SuzAnne Hubbard in 1975 and they moved to Chicago to work in one of those churches from 1975 -1978. After a short ministry as youth pastor in southern Illinois, the Albrights returned to Michigan, where Pastor Albright worked on the staff of SuzAnne’s home church. In 1983 Pastor Albright began a 13-year hiatus from ministry while pursuing a business career. During these 13 years their family grew with two sons and a daughter.

God led Pastor Albright back into ministry, which began in 1997, when he accepted a pastoral staff position in the small bedroom community of Monroe, MI, at Grace Baptist Church, located halfway between Detroit and Toledo, Ohio. From 1997 until the fall of 2001, Pastor Albright served on the pastoral staff and in 1999 was closely involved in the building of a new church.

In 2002 the Lord directed the Albrights to the Rio Grande Valley to serve in a church and in January of 2006 the Lord led Pastor Albright to plant Grace Bible Baptist Church in McAllen, TX where he and his wife continue to serve the Lord together.
